Dr Neil Witt
Neil has been involved with Internet and Web development for 10 years including a number of eLearning initiatives. He has published over forty academic papers and has managed a large portfolio of research projects. He has acted as a consultant to a number of high profile customers and is currently a national TechDis associate where he advises UK educational institutions on accessibility issues.

Mark Stone
Mark is involved in People Management and Information Technology teaching and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Mark along with Dr Neil Witt formed the Communication and Learning Technology Group at the University of Plymouth in 1997 to facilitate cross faculty research and development in this area. Mark's current research interests include people management, organisational learning, organisational change, e-business, e-commerce, student centred learning, student progression and transfer, communication and learning technology and distance learning.

David Gadd
Dave has a background in Social Research and has worked on a number of small and large research projects in the UK and Australia. This has included the testing and implementation of a number of innovative quantitative and qualitative studies - everything from Pilot Studies involving large populations undergoing telephone interviews and CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) to more informal participant observation and semi-structured interviewing on hospital wards. Dave's recent projects have combined this background with the implementation of e-learning systems to disseminate knowledge and good practice in the use of secondary data, e commerce and in student progression and transfer. He has also led the design and delivery of more than 300 websites for ICO3 clients - many of them database driven and designed to allow clients to manage their own content.

Dr Anne McDermott
Anne is a psychology graduate, a qualified mental health nurse and a Research Fellow at the University of Plymouth who has experience of, amongst other things, working with people with a hearing and/or sight impairment. Her interests and investigations include Internet-based delivery of learning, the accessibility of the Internet for users with a disability and continuing professional development issues.
